Our club will be presenting our 4th  Annual Fund Raiser Weekend for Camp Quality on 25th & 26th  September 2010 at the beautiful property “Bronte” in Bullaburra in the World Heritage Listed Blue Mountains.

I am writing to you in the hope that you may be able to share this weekend with our club.

Last year, many of you generously made a donation toward our goal to send a number of children to camp for which we were most grateful. I again ask if you can assist us in any way by making a donation this year.
Below, just a reminder of  what Camp Quality is all about.
Camp Quality is an organisation which assists families with children living with cancer. They provide social occasions where “like” families can spend time together as well as run “Camp” holidays for the child with cancer.  The cost per child and a carer to attend camp is $650.

Our plan for the Families visit to The World Heritage Blue Mountains and Fund Raiser Day is as follows:
Saturday 25th September – The children and their families drive to Bullaburra in The Blue Mountains. From there we take them by bus to the attractions of The Blue Mountains e.g. The 3 Sisters Echo Point Scenic World etc. and then back to Bullaburra for Lunch with entertainment, special guests etc.

Sunday 26th September – THE LEXUS LONG LUNCH (Parramatta Lexus is our major sponsor) This day is purely for Fund Raising – Guests pay for the day spent at the property.

Lunch will be provided with entertainment and music. During the day there will be Silent Auctions, Auctions and Raffles.
  • Sponsor a kid to Camp     $650
  • Be a participating Sponsor/Citizen with a cash donation
  • Donate Advertising Space
  • Donate an Item for Auction
  • Donate an Item for the Silent Auction
  • Donate a prize for the Raffle
  • Donate goods for a “Goodies Bag” for the kids
  • Donate Tee Shirts for the kids
  • Donate a Signed Tee Shirt for auction
  • Donate Food and/or Wine for the Luncheon
  • Provide “Manpower” on either or both days
  • Provide Entertainment
  • Provide Face Painting and/or Fun Things for Kids
  • Provide Music
  • Just book yourselves or group in for the Sunday “A Day in The Blue Mountains” Luncheon – Invite attached
Any of the above would be gratefully accepted by the club and we look forward to the opportunity of working with you in one or any of these ways.

Please let us know if there is some other way that you can help make this weekend a great success.
We would be delighted to hear from you.

Kind regards and for Bob Reid, President.

Blackheath is a beautiful blue mountains village with a busy shopping centre providing everything from cafes, restaurants & hotels to antique & collectable shops, pre-loved goods & book shops.
The outcome from a weekend such as this gives a wonderful day out for the families living with cancer and creates public awareness for the work of Camp Quality.
