Winter Magic Festival

A vibrant celebration of the Winter Solstice.

The day when the Blue Mountains most visited town, Katoomba, hands its main street back to the community for the biggest street party in Australia. The Blue Mountains unleashes the extraordinary talents of the local community - jugglers, gymnasts, musicians, dancers, drummers, troubadours, buskers, storytellers, poets, churches and choirs and invites you to share the day with them.

Just prior to and during the Winter Magic Festival there is also Art Street, where for 2 weeks, Artist's works dress shop windows throughout the main shopping centre and arcades of Katoomba. A wonderful example of business supporting the arts community and the people of the City of The Blue Mountains.

Over 30,000 people will celebrate the winter solstice and the changing of the seasons this June in Katoomba.

This has become one of the biggest street festivals in Australia. The annual WINTER MAGIC FESTIVAL is a weekend not to be missed.
