The Million Paws Walk
An Opportunity to help our less fortunate four-legged friends..
The Million Paws Walk is an RSPCA event designed to treat your ‘best friend’ to the best day out of the year and support the important work of the RSPCA
This traditional show includes the Blue Mountains Dahlia Championship, and competition categories include flowers, vegetables, potplants (including cacti and succulents), floral art, cooking and handicrafts (including ceramics, patchwork, knitting, tapestry and more).
A three day festival of folk, roots and blues music, featuring selected artists from around the world and across Australia
6 Foot Track Marathon:
The Six Foot Track is a 45km footpath stretching across the Blue Mountains National Park from The Explorer's Marked Tree, near Katoomba to Jenolan Caves.
The marathon is Australia's largest 100% off-road marathon and it is a fundraiser for the Rural Fire Service & Six Foot Track Heritage Trust.
It currently attracts approx 650 entrants each year.
The day when the Blue Mountains most visited town, Katoomba, hands its main street back to the community for the biggest street party in Australia. All Saturday events are FREE.

Ironfest is an arts festival with a metal edge, featuring art exhibitions, stalls, live music, street performance, historical re-enactments, (including the Australasian World Jousting Tournament and a colonial battle re-enactment with three cannons and cavalry), blacksmithing demonstrations, workshops, busking competitions, automotive displays, educational, historical and technological displays and lots more!
